Yay!!! Week 9 Run 3 done! Feels really good to finally finish! The heat was pretty relentless but i managed 5k in 35 mins 😀😀 that’s 2 minutes faster than my Parkrun!!

Was a particularly poignant run today, not only because it was my final one but it was my Dad’s anniversary (he died last year - aged 57). Rather than collapsing in an emotional heap, thinking of him and the challenges he faced and overcame kept me going! Did the Pretty Muddy two weeks ago in his memory and loved it too!

I’m now totally convinced that I MUST carry on running because it has such a positive effect on my mental wellbeing. I’d love to do a triathlon next year!!
