Maybe just have more rest days and then do all you can to minimise impact. Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill, and wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis.
If it persists, see your GP or a physio.

If it is at the front of your leg, at the top of your shin, and feels bruised, it sounds like patella tendon pain, I have had this for 25 years and been unable to get rid of it, I just put up with it.
