Feeling dissapointed. Wk 5 completed. Sooooo chuffed. On Monday I did wk6r1. Was hard but ok. Then on Tuesday shooting pains in my knee when I walk. So painful.
Have a 5k run on Sunday (wasn't going to run it all) race for life.im soooo dissapointed. Each morning I wake thinking it will be better but then it isn't.
Feeling down now and that I will never get back to it.

Dare I say it? Maybe you ran too fast on Monday - or perhaps you don't have the right shoes. If you haven't already, get your gait checked at a specialist shop before you start again.
And do plan to start again, because we are all rooting for you.
Aww Sarah, I had wondered how you were getting on after your post earlier in the week. I’m sorry the knee isn’t much better. I can feel how frustrated you are and I’ve been there. It will get better with time, and there will be other 5ks, the strengthening exercises will really help. You will get back if you are determined to. Take the time you need to recover then off you go again. I had five weeks out over 2 months with my knees but I still managed to come back. You will too. 🏃🏻♀️💪🤞
