Due to complete w9 r2 today and I’m aiming towards the 5k in 30 mins by July 8th when I do race for life. Is this achievable when I did 4.7k on my last run? It’s actually getting a bit easier so hope that’s because I’m getting fitter!

You’re doing really well! I graduated Thursday and am only managing 4K in 30 minutes. The advice that I’ve read in these forums suggests consolidating 3 x 30 minute runs for three weeks after graduation and then increasing by 10% training time a week. Time wise , you might be running about 33 minutes by 8th July depending when you complete your graduation run. But there’s no time limit to R4L so why not just slow the pace. It doesn’t matter how long it takes (in fact with thousands of runners in the field, you may have to slow your pace anyway). And if you need to walk for a bit, that’s not the end of the world. Read deezys post from this morning about her 5k fun run. Good luck! Xx
