Well I’m currently on week 5 and the running has been going really well. I normally do the run in the gym on a treadmill however today I had to do it outside as iv not had chance to get to the gym and oh my it was soooo hard. Only managed to run 2 mins and had to stop as I could barely breath and my chest hurt so much which is strange because I can run on the treadmill for 8 mins now non stop. Anybody no why I struggled so much outside?

I don't know the answer to this but I agree it's the same for me and only just done week 3 run 1.

Hi Tanya, I started out on the treadmill for the first run and circumstances beyond my control meant I had to take to the road (car breakdown). I was dreading it, but determined to carry on and not fall at the first hurdle.

I found that, surprisingly, I enjoyed running outdoors more than I could ever have imagined and haven’t run on the treadmill since. Where you run makes a big difference too. I’ve found that some places and routes a harder slog than others. Parks are usually pretty good, as there’s normally a little trail that’s a bit more even than when you take to the pavements! I’m just about to complete W3, so I can’t really give you any comforting advice or inspiration. I think it’s brilliant that you’re on W5, so do this wherever works for you! ❤️
