Achey/Dull throbbing pain in left leg :o

Before I begin, I am aware if I'm too concerned that I should contact my GP about this, however my problem is not that severe in my opinion, and I wouldn't like to waste NHS time if this lovely forum has any obvious answers for me.

Anyway, I've noticed that whenever I do a run, or just generally be active in walking (8k steps), my left leg aches quite a bit - a dull throb around my knee and up to my thigh. It's not a sharp or intense pain (hence me not going to the doctors).

My question is, has anyone experienced bad aches in specific limbs/legs? And what can you do to prevent them? I'm just concerned my left leg is going to give up on me in a run, and the last thing I want is a injury! :/ and if you have a inkling of why this could be happening/whether you think I should book the doctors would also be helpful.

Thanks in advance! :)

If it’s on the inside of your thigh it'll be an adductor. It's easy to tweak these muscles, particularly with quick changes in direction - I pulled mine in week 1. A couple of days rest sorted mine out.
