It’s that time of the week again, a lovely Sunday morning when I get to actually go outside to run instead of hitting the gym near work. I have to say, even at 7:30 it was already very warm outside so I’m glad I didn’t leave it much later!
My total workout today took me 3.75km with an average pace of 8:48 which I’m quite proud of even though I’m not sure if that’s considered a ‘good’ time 🤔
Only downside this morning is I’ve got back home and I sat down and suddenly felt like I wanted to be sick. I ate half a banana before I left and half when I got back in so I wasn’t running on an empty stomach and this is the first time I’ve had this feeling when I’m done. Anyone got any tips to help prevent it?

I can’t offer advice about feeling sick after the banana as we have been a banana free household for the last 20 years as both they made both my daughters sick when they were little and still do. 😏
But I did want to say well done on getting you run completed this morning .
I always run before breakfast so all I have is a mug of tea before I get myself ready to go. I then feel like I’ve earned my breakfast after I’m back home and showered.
I do make sure I’ve drank plenty of fluid the evening before so that I’m not dehydrated. Any more than a mug of tea has me in need of 🚽 mid run, which isn’t good.
Thanks, I will admit I’m very much looking forward to my breakfast now after that run! Waiting till the rest of the bunch get out of bed first though so could be a long wait 😂
