And to think 8 weeks ago I couldn't run!

I have just completed week 8 run 1, 28 solid minutes of jogging with the obligatory 5 minutes either end (38 all in) and am constantly surprising myself with the progress from week 1 run 1 where I could barely finish it!

Now the 'end is in sight, what next? I'm thinking of 2 runs at 30 minutes every week slowly increasing my pace until I can actually do 5k in 30 minutes, as I still want to get about 3 days doing weights in. At the moment for the 28 minute run I'm about 3.8k. But hey, I'm a plotter, slow and steady and I know I will make it, at least I don't get shin splints or 'dead' feet anymore!
