After a less than elegant W5R3 (the 20min run, see my last post), I followed all of your lovely advice... swapping wine for water, staying well hydrated the day before and slowing down the pace as we get into the higher weeks. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the other posts saying that W6 was even HARDER than W5 despite the drop in minutes... but I'm happy to report that it went really well - surprisingly well! I had a good run... and to be honest, I SO needed the confidence boost. π Sigh... I know there will be highs and lows but I'm ready for them. Bring it on! Thank you so much!!! You guys are the best.

As requested by Claireednet , here's my musical playlist:
07:24 Thompson Twins, Hold me now (great warm up)
03:39 The Bar-Kays, Son of Shaft (secretly makes me feel a little like Rocky Balboa... here's to the underdog! π)
03:57 Franz Ferdinand, Take me out (great pace)
04:01 Daft Punk, Around the world (more great pace)
03:50 Elton John, Sorry Seems to be... (makes me appreciate the gorgeous Finnish nature around me - I'm here on business)
03:39 Ronnie Davis, Kaya (at this point, I usually want to stop and for some reason this track makes me smile)
03:06 Duke Pearson, Ground Hog (my lungs don't hurt, I'm a groovy sexy 60s bombshell in white go-go boots π)
03:32 Orchestral manΕuvres, Enola Gay (this is the one that holds my hand all the way to the finish line)
07:24 Thompson Twins, Hold me now (I know, I like to play it again for my warm down)
Depending on how I'm feeling, I might skip through some of these so here are some of my backups.
05:31 Noel Gallagher, Everybody's on the run
02:31 James Brown, Papa's got a brand new bag
04:10 Oasis, Out of time
02:24 The brothers of soul, Come on back
03:20 Bloc party, Banquet
02:34 The Kinks, Picture book
04:29 Baxter Dury, Trophies
03:37 Orchestral manΕuvres, Souvenirs
03:53 Talk talk, It's my life
03:46 David Bowie, Space Oddity
04:27 Dead or Alive, You spin me round
04:47 Gary Numan, We are glass
03:57 Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Relax
BTW, these are all Shazam tracks from my favourite local coffee shop π They all magically save directly onto my Spotify. Enjoy!
