I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my plea for advice on Sunday when I was 'struggling'. A few of you had talked about slowing my pace when running and I have to report that I had an amazing run this morning (week 5 run 2 ) doing just that. It felt so slow really but I didn't get out of breath and could have continued for longer. I'm now actually looking forward to the 20min challenge!! So my advice to pass on if you're struggling is to SLOW right down! Thanks again

Spot on briefcase, it didn't sink in with me too until weeks 5/6. I now makesure my first stint (up to Laura saying 5mins in steady pace etc) is the slowest and try to give it a bit more the last 5 mins, stepping it up again the last minute if poss. If you've had a wobble run just drop down again, there are no medals for your weekly runs until your 27th one in week 9. Enjoy the 20 something runs I think you will your confidence will sore I promise you. All the best.
Thank you!
