Can anyone advise where I can get a pretty cheap sports watch so I can track my pace etc? Don’t know where to start so many out there and some so expensive x

Before you spend any money, it’s worth looking at wether your phone can do the job. Apps like strava or Runkeeper will record as you run.

If you decide you need a watch, do you have a decathlon store near you? Sure they would have something to suit your needs and budget.

I have an I phone, never thought of the app thanks! just with having the couch to 5k app open and have app going for my music playing wasn’t sure if app for recording run might get a bit confusing, will give it a go. X

My wife uses all three at once on her iPhone, start Runkeeper first, then start your music and finally start the c25k app.

I just downloaded runkeeper

Garmin Forerunner 10 is a a good, basic watch.

No problem, you could always try downloading the couch to 5k podcasts from the podcast app on the iPhone, it’s the couch to 5k app with its own music, so only one app running instead of 2.

I use Strava to keep track of my runs, distance, and speed etc..

You can give it a try and see if it suits your need. I run Strava along with C25K and music playing on my iPhone. In all 6 weeks of my running it hasn’t caused any issue.

Definitely start off with Strava or runkeeper on your phone I reckon, especially if you're already using it for the app + music. Watches are great but they're definitely an investment you need to think about before spending.
