Hi I’m on week 4 of C25K but just pulled a muscle in my calf. Limping due to the pain. Will I really have to rest it? Don’t want to have to go back to week 1??

Rest up I'm afraid. Calf injuries can take a while to get over. See a sports physio if there's one nearby, they'll offer some proper advice. Hope you're back on your feet soon!! You have W5 to look forward to. Gulp....

I know. Frustrating. Or shorter Anglo Saxon words. Getting some professional advice will be better than carrying on and making it more serious. Don't beat yourself up though. The runs will be waiting for you and so will we!!

There is no point aggravating an existing injury. That will just set you back further.

Search R.I.C.E. for runners.
