How do you breathe?

Hi folks. This is my first post. I've just completed week 4 but each time had to stop during the 5 minute runs to catch my breath. Just for 10 secs or so. I try to follow Jo Whilleys advice but can't multitask... I either run or breathe but I cant do both properly at the same time!

Should I keep repeating week 4 until I can?

Advice would be appreciated.

I really struggled with the breathing but it does get easier with practice. Just keep working on the deep breathing even when walking and it starts to become natural/habit. Do it right from the start of the run as t. I'm week 8 and it probably kicked in around week 5 or 6, becoming more comfortable. Good luck

Thanks for this. It gives me hope. Maybe thinking too much about it.

I'll keep plodding on!

Good luck with your running.

Just keep breathing! it will start to come more naturally as you start doing the longer runs

Please read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which covers this and many other topics.

Slow down to an easy conversational pace and just breathe as you always have done. Don't get hung up on it.
