Not liking it 😩 finished it but have to walk a little in the last 5 mins run . My legs really hurt . I think I may need to revisit this week again after run 3. Bit disappointing as I really wanted to be able to keep moving up a gear . Must listen to my body. Any tips on how to relieve pains in calf’s, side of shins and pins and needles in feet . I stretch before and after and I don’t think my trainers are to tight. These seems to be my big problems

Have you had a gait analysis done? Read on the pinned guide that by now we should be getting some proper fitting trainers. I’ve just done wk4r3 and I reckon it’s time I bit the bullet and got some proper shoes. Been running in an old pair of Karrimor trail trainers and it’s about time i looked after my feet. Maybe it’s time for you too? (If you’ve not had it done already of course). Also two day rest might help before r3.

I googled it to find my closest. It’s a running shop. The analysis is free if you buy a pair of trainers afterwards otherwise it’s £10. Probably similar deals elsewhere. Seems like a good investment seeing as I’m getting into it now.
