Which week challenged you?

I am about to embark on W3R1 of C25K which I am, surprisingly for me, quite looking forward to. I think because the running to walking ratio is still very much balanced. What I would like to know from others, is which week did you find the biggest step?

Going from lazing about to week 1: the shock to the system of all those runs. The rest hasn't been easy so far, but nothing to match the first session.

Agreed. I have tried running in the past but not following any structured plan, which meant I was getting used to it and gave up quickly.

Week 4

Week 6

Sorry worst weeks not week 😉

Same as trogdelight - week 1. The very first run. 60 seconds nearly killed me! Now I've done 20 mins nonstop, much to my surprise and delight.

Got to admit, a 20 minute run seems a long way off at the moment, yet it is only 2 weeks away.

Week 6 was a challenge, mentally as well as physically. After that it seems to build up nicely and you have more confidence that you are going to run for 30 minutes. That’s what I found anyway.

Were you running mornings or evenings?

I work different shifts each week so usually mornings but sometimes afternoons depending on the day/week. I have no real pattern!

Having a sneak peek at what is coming up, the 20 minute run in wk5 looks like a big step.

Week 6!

After the 20min run in W5 i knew i could run for a decent amount of time so was confident but i really struggled with the walking then going back into a run again, it sort of messed with my rhythm and just made things much harder for me

It doe seem a little odd to build up to a 20 min run to then drop back to 5 min run.

Week 1 was the hardest thing I have done in a long time!! I genuinely struggled to run for 60 seconds 😬 Weeks 2 and 3 were easier, not 'easy' but nothing like the shock to the system of that first run!! Onwards and upwards..... 😉👟😉
