How to find a run buddy

I've been procrastinating about doing this for too long. Have tried a couple of times ("practices"!). I think I'd do much better if I did the programme with someone equally unfit and I confident about running. Is there a way others have found a running buddy?

Well, you can connect, virtually with other folk on the same runs as you on the programme and form a team... I remember McFitty was part of one and they all made Graduation together.. supporting each other and encouraging:)

Many folk find a running club too..a good one which caters for all levels... :) But..if you keep posting, we will always respond.. you may run on your own, but you never run alone:)

A local running club near me was doing the c25k programme and went out 3 nights a week. It wasn’t flexible enough for me re childcare so my sister in law and I are doing it together and now my mum has joined us. X

I jog with the dog. He goes at my speed and never complains about my pace. He doesn't expect conversation and is always in a buoyant mood. If it's time to go out and I am prevaricating, he grumbles and stares at me so there is no excuse :)
