Three weeks later....

It’s been a while since I last posted, but I’m still running! And every week, I’ve surprised myself. The part of me that says “there’s no way I can run for 90 seconds/3 minutes/5 minutes has been proved wrong, even when I take a wrong turn and find myself running up hills - I tell myself that if I really, really can’t run to the top, I can always turn round and run back down. Which I’ve only done once so far! (This area has soooooo many hills.... the longer the runs are, the further I’m finding myself walking back at the end, because I’ve been avoiding them!)

So today I started Week 5. All was going well until the second run, when the app crashed on me for the third time running. The last couple of times, it crashed while I was walking, but today I ran for a good two minutes longer than I had to. Bearing in mind I wasn’t in the best of humours when I started, I mentally gave Sarah Millican a right gobful. Has this happened to anyone else? I have to stop, take my phone out of my arm band, relaunch the app, then fiddle about getting it to the right place. More than a little annoying. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m running several other run mapping apps at the same time, (still haven’t decided which one I like the best) could this be the cause? Please help - my next run is 8 minutes, and I could really do without the stress!

I used the podcasts which are nice and simple (like me).

How annoying! It has happened to me a couple of times but it was early on! I did have some other stuff running like Strava but when I looked at it afterwards it didn’t really make much sense so I don’t bother anymore! I know I’m slow and that’s fine by me 😊😊 Well done for getting to week 5 I hope your app behaves better next time!
