Week three run one...aborted

Having a dog as a running companion is brilliant but when one has a cat who also likes to go for a walk that is a completely different kettle of fish. My son's cat likes to come with us when we walk the dog so he decided to accompany us this morning. He didn't appreciate me running so ran in front of me which made me swerve to avoid him and so slipped in some mud that was spread across the road. I'm 'sure' he didn't do it on purpose and is not sitting smugly on the radiator with a full tummy while I dose on anti inflams and strong tea. Second attempt will be late this afternoon/early evening when the cat will be safely locked up in the house :/

I am afraid that is cats for you having three myself however the younger pair tend to run off into the bushes while the old lady of the house likes to lie on her blanket and sleep when I go running in the mornings.

Oh no! I can imagine that running with cats is well-nigh impossible! Hope you did not hurt yourself too much and are able to try again later as planned.

Ugh yes, I am not one of life's sprinters but it has to happen when returning our own "I'll come on a walk with you" cat to the house and legging it round the corner before he appears again.

Hope you recover soon from that nasty jolt.

I'm feline fine now, thank you. A little sore but should be ok for running later. Cats eh??!!

I shall take care when I next go out. He does like to spend most of his time outdoors so I have to time my runs for when he is in for food. I may confuse him and go a different way if he is still out tonight :)
