Does anyone experience pain in the heels the day after a run? It goes after I walk a little, just wondered if I was doing anything wrong? TIA

I believe it's the fascia band in your foot. It's very new this thing you're putting your body through so it does need time to adjust. I felt it a lot in the early to mid weeks but I have regular massages and she worked my feet quite hard. Google self foot massage or fascia massage.

Also heel lifts standing on a stair are great, stand on just your toes/balls of your feet and drop your heels as far as you can, feel that stretch and rise up to tip toe, feel that stretch and repeat. 👍😊

That sounds like the start of plantar fasciitis (PF). The only way to be sure is to get a proper diagnosis.

Eccentric Heel dips (dynamic stretches) at least three times a day, and a frozen bottle of water rolled under the foot regularly etc should help.

Check your shoes, PF can be aggravated by wearing very flat shoes. 12mm heel to toe drop are recommended for runners. Beware wearing slippers or flip flops as these are too flat.
