Hi to all

Just starting out, 42, dodgy ankles, have not ran in years & overweight.

But hey figured this would be a good challenge, I do go to the gym or a walk when I can (which means not often), but starts next week, hopefully successfully :)

Hi. I’m 45, a fellow newbie (I’ve just finished week one), overweight, have never run before and have dodgy knees - why are we doing this? Because we are going to feel great after each run, we will feel fitter and have more energy, and maybe lose a few inches. You can and will do it :)

Thank you :)

And yeah you are right, it should be great after each run (fingers crossed) :)

Hiii! I’m the same age as you and started in January with the scales on the unkind side of heavy!! I graduated about a month ago and have toned up loads. (I follow the slimming world plan too) I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done...both for my physical and mental health. Embrace the program, go for it and keep posting to let us know how you’re doing! (This forum is non judgmental and amazingly supportive 👍🏻) 🤗
