Just finished w2r1. Knackered. How can I stop my calves tightening up when I’m running? It’s getting to a point where I can’t walk afterwards. I already stretch before I run and sometimes I have to stop and stretch more

It might not be a good idea to stretch before a run, unless its dynamic stretching. Save your staticstretching for afterwards.

Also, make sure you are wearing good running trainers.

Yes, don't stretch cold muscles..but do stretch afterwards.
Make sure you are well hydrated by drinking more water, on non-run days as well as after your run...
Slow your running right down to, just a really gentle jogging motion.😊xx

Slow it right down. Then slow it down some more. Just keep it at a gentle shuffle.
Make sure you are hydrated.
