Not going well 😯

I was looking forward to yesterday morning's W7R3 but didn't do it because I didn't sleep at all the previous night. This morning I'm well rested but scared that I won't manage! It's so silly. I have completed W6R3, W7R1 and W7R2 successfully, why would I fail now and if I did why would it matter? I could always just do it again. It's 8.15 and I've been getting up to run since 6!

Just do it. You will be fine but if you are not, so what, it doesn't matter you can do it again. The more you think of reasons not to do it the harder it will be (I speak from experience) lol. Tell us how you got on. Good luck! :)

I managed 15 mins including the 5 min warm up and a 7 min walk home! I never felt in control of my legs, my hips hurt and I have no energy. I wonder whether I'm suffering from the change of routine. During term time I have to run at 6am, today I had the luxury of lying in bed stressing.

Still, I have a lovely day ahead and time to get my psyche in gear before Friday morning. I will do it then at 6.

Well done for getting out there! Hope it went well, but even if it didn’t, it’s better than not trying.

Hi there msanni ....so what if you don’t complete it??? You can always have a practice run...if you manage it then that’s a bonus, if you don’t, well, just bag the stamina & the distance & try again...the programme doesn’t have to take 9 weeks, it takes as long as it takes you & your body....don’t be too hard on yourself & don’t expect too much of yourself either....take your time, nice & slow

Thank you. I'm good at supporting others and crap at supporting myself! I'm over my disappointment. As I managed rather less than 5 minutes running I'm going to do it tomorrow.

Don’t give yourself an hard time, listen to your body 😊 that’s when things started going well for me.

Its just gremlins getting in your way. This is the mind over matter part. You know your body can do it, you just need your mind to get on side too.

You've got this 👍💪😁
