So due to do wk8r2 on a parkrun this morning but it was cancelled as a section was flooded. Husband and I decided to run it anyway and do a detour around the flooded bit. Well I only went and ran the whole 5k!! I know its against the rules but I felt comfortable, slowed right down when I needed to and really enjoyed it. On Christmas day my family did the parkrun and I said by Easter I will be joining you. I am thrilled that I followed through and have done it.

Congratulations. Nicely done.
If you did it in the 28 mins programme requirement then nothing broken.
If you extended your time running to complete 5k maybe take it steady for a few runs, just in case.
