After having an operation to remove a GBM4 tumour I have had 30 days of RT & Chemo I can go walking apparently so I have about three weeks before I have to go back to find out when my phase 2 starts. Anyway this morning I went for a walk which took me about 52 minutes and I managed to cover just over 5km. I have to see the oncologist and will ask them if I can start to do short runs as my phase 2 while taking 6 months is a case of taking 5 tablets for a week then waiting 3 weeks before taking the next 5

Great to hear from you, glad things are going well. That speed walking training before the op seems to of given you a really good base to work with. Take care Rfc x.
Great to have you here...Very well done you. Out there and doing it.. huge hug xxxx
Great that you are on the mend. I hope you get the permission to start running again at your next appointment, a sign that you are getting bs k to normal life
It is so great to hear from you again MoK. Hopefully your oncologist will give you the ok to start running again, but if not, keep up the walking. If I remember correctly, you were having balance issues prior to your diagnosis. I'm guessing that is resolving with that quick pace your walking at 👍🏻💪😁 so hopefully you should get the all clear. Fingers crossed for you.
