So yesterday’s run ended with a smiley face! I ran further, and I was quicker, without trying. My feet didn’t hurt, my thighs were fine, and other than looking like a tomato on legs, it was great!
I do seem to get a really dry throat though - does anyone have any ideas to remedy that? I don’t want to carry water with me, but it gets really uncomfortable.
Also........ it says I should do 3 runs a week, with a day off in between. So I’ve done my 3 this week, day off today - can I go out again tomorrow?

But nothing wrong with having extra repair day in a week.🤔
Remind yourself of the Mentor’s IannodaTruffe reply to your 2nd post.
He went through the programme run/repair alternating days etc, in a little shorter time than 9 weeks.🤔👏👏 Be careful, we are all different.👍
Hydrate all the time, all days, water and hydration comes from your food also.
I always carry water with me in small rucksack/back pack.Must be other smart options.🤔
Be careful, a dry throat is sometimes a signal that your body is over exercising at a particular stage in your development.Body Repair lagging behind your enthusiasm.🤔
Be kind to yourself.Slow & steady.👍The programme is not a race.
You are building a running body and a running brain.🌟👏👏
You have many other non impact options on this programme, Active10, cardio, strength, stretching etc, etc.🤔👏👏🌟
As long as you have at last one rest day between runs you are fine
Water wise.. anything up to 5K you should not need to carry water.. hydrate well every day and make sure the day before you have taken your daily ration I suck a sugar free polo.. if I have a dry mouth..and, keep it slow and steady too
You may be pushing a tad too hard... save yourself
Are you doing all your breathing through your mouth? This can cause dry mouth/ throat. If so ease up enough that at least some of the time your mouth is closed.
I found the mouth breathing eased off naturally as I progressed through the programme. 👍😊
