I went out today for my last run of week One with the best intentions knowing I had a slightly raspy throat. But once I started brisk walking my throat began to feel so sore and I couldn't even catch my breath at a slow pace - so I decided to go for a 20 min walk instead of setting myself back further by pushing through a run. It's important to listen to your body when it needs a break!! Now back home for something to eat and will continue running when I'm feeling better

Good plan. Wrap up well, find a good book and sit by the fire. You will be back out there as soon as you are better
Sensible plan... never a good idea to stress your body needlessly...
