After a debilitating spell in Hospital at Christmas with sepsis, I decided to start again and did the first run of Week 1 again at the end of January - hard work, but OK. Immune system is knackered and since then I have been quite ill again. It is so frustrating not being able to do anything, so today I took the bull by the horns and tried a gentle re-introduction to getting a sweat on again. Pleased to say I survived a very gentle comeback - and walked exactly a mile in 12.04. I was tempted to jog, but I need to sneak up on this thing softly, softly, so a week of walking is planned. If that goes well, I am going to surprise it andjump on the back of that Running Thing again.
