Been doing this as I must get fitter after many year of illness. Joined a running group at the beginning of the year and been really strict doing my 3 runs a week, including one a week with the club. Have been finding it really tough (and I'm really slow) but I have been so proud of myself so far. However this week I have been struck down with illness and off work for three days, coupled with a dodgy knee that will be 4 runs including one with the club missed. Given I was already struggling, am I going to be able to get back in? I really want to keep with the club as it is great incentive to do the other runs and I love the sense of community. Talk it through with your club members. They may be happy to drop back for you to catch up.

Your situation is exactly why I believe that we are all better off doing C25k on our own.

If you post your progress then we will provide the support you need.
