Sorry all but it is a novelty for me at the moment.
Just a couple of comments on this week.
In my desperate attempt improve my time I have convinced myself that.... if I am at the back of 250 runners it takes me a couple of minutes to pass the start sign after the whistle so that must mean I can knock two mins off my finish time right? Just joking really, I’m pleased to just be there
Two thank yous today too
1 to the lady behind me at the car park machine who discreetly informed me that my leggings were inside out and that the label was cheekily waving between my buttocks! (Early start no cup of tea to wake me up)
2 to the other 67 year old woman who didn’t turn up and therefore enabling me to come first in my age group.

Lucky to have so many round here. I thought I might like to do some spring ones further afield although the thought of sheringham fills me with dreading that hilly route though
Hey - that doesn’t sound like the lady who, last week, was beating herself up for being slow! 🤗. I did PR No 4 today, and achieved what I set out to do - ie run (shuffle) the whole way. At last I got a glimpse of that feeling of achievment! All things are relative, and I know the only way I was able to do it was by going even more slowly than I ever thought possible, but yes - I said we’d nail it, and it sounds as if we are both a tad closer to doing that. 👍
I’ve just read some of your posts, congratulations on your 10K . At the moment I’m trying to consolidate 5k without injury, but you’ve inspired me to consider the 5k to 10K programme.
I’m impressed with your speed too, I have doubts about increasing mine but then again in September I didn’t even think I could run .
Thank you, not quite sure what's happened to me have never done anything like this before but I just love it 😁I'm not really concerned about how fast (or slow) run just enjoying the journey.
My first Park Run today! Not sure when I’ll get to do another but it was fun! I was 5 th in my age category but beginning to think there might have only been 5 of us!! 😂
Well done! Fun read. I was the tail walker/runner with 11 others at Parkrun in snowy, icy Montreal. I volunteer for this position in the winter because I'm one of the slowest runners showing up. I guess the cold weather scares away the casual runners and the walkers. It's being there that counts.
