Hip hip hooray. I ran today. First time since damaging thigh muscles on my graduation run πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ (22nd November). Not 100% fit so did run 1 week 1. Felt great to be out there. Need to get fit as have signed up for half marathon in September. Will take it easy till back to 100% fitness, don’t want to end up back on IC. Happy running πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ everyone.

Keep your pace to a conversational pace for all your runs until you get at least half way through.

Not really sure, think I just overdid it, I had done a 5k brisk walk with the dog prior to my 5k run then about an hour after run I walked about another 5k. The next day couldn't walk. I've had physio and been doing the exercises he gave me. I will definitely take it easy. In the words of "Oldfloss" slow and steady. I haven't been happy about not being able to run.

Sounds like you have it under control, but do remember that you may now have a susceptibility to injury.
