That's really encouraging thanks. I seem to have got stuck at the "ok for 20 mins then increasingly tired for the last 10 mins" stage - beginning to wonder how long it will take for over 20 mins to feel ok! πŸ€”

Yes it’s hard but I used to focus on the fact that I was doing it just for me and it kept me going! Even now halfway through a 6k run I have a weak few minutes but then before I know it I am ok again. Also my breathing and running pace now seems to take care of itself as soon as I take off. Keep at it and most of all enjoy! 😬

Lovely to hear, Debbie! Running for the joy of it is simply the best. Good work!

I just read a fab book you might enjoy - Running Like a Girl by Alexandra Heminsley. Very inspiring and very funny. Treat yourself, you will love it.

Have a great time! I have been to Delhi and Kerala - Kerala was heavenly and I loved the food! That book will make a great holiday read. πŸ˜€

Ah well done! Unfortunately in the winter months I've been letting things slip a bit, and I'm not going as far as I planned. Your post has boosted me on a bit. I'll try gradually getting back up to the 5k's again and see if I can improve things. It was so much easier to run when the days were longer - the route variety has been lacking recently due to having to stick to lit routes. it's brilliant that you're challenging yourself :)
