The calf muscle felt good so on went the trainers and out I went for Wk8 r3.
Despite having to run in compacted icy snow for much of the run I managed to stay vertical and enjoyed my run immensely. The calf hurts again now but I don’t care, I ran 5 k in 33 minutes.
I had to run a bit longer than the 28 as I was still a long way from base and I’m buggered if I’m walking back in that temperature.
