A Leader in Running Fitness. I went on a course last weekend to get the qualification to teach new runners, and I am going to be taking beginners, following C25K. It's a new initiative by Cambridge Council, called Let's Get Moving, they have paid for my training, and I just need to wait for my licence before I get my own group of baby runners! So excited!

EDIT

I forgot to mention that the trainer on the course dubbed me "Slow coach" he said I was the most important person on that course that day, if new runners see a coach as slow as me, they will think - if she can do it, I can.... I think I'm flattered... not sure though! He said I should get a jacket with that on the back!

That's great news. I've never met a LIRF before! Sounds like you're going to be an ace coach. Best wishes for your new role!

Fantastic! - but like you I am a bit doubtful about that trainer! Slow is great, so what's the deal? A bit of a double-edged compliment!

Not what you're looking for?
