Post Grad -almost made five k today

I made 4.85k but didn't notice until I was home and showered. These days distance is kind of a 'by the way' instead of something I am focused on.

It was hot out this morning. 30C before midday.

My usual workday running tracks are closer to home but there's hardly any shade while my weekend track is in the bush and winds it's way through tall trees that create glorious shade. I think I am going to have to forfeit the extra twenty minutes to drive to the bush track on days like today because that sun was relentless!

Also finished with a lovely cool-down and stretch. Feel much better for it

I need this stamped on my forehead! I usually go straight to work after I run and don't really even think about it because my workday is all bending and stretching. I will bother from now on in, though, because I felt a-maz-ing!
