No wonder I had lead legs tonight.... for the 1st time I actually covered over 5km during my run (including 5 minute warm up walk and 5 minute cool down walk). So just over 38 minutes in total.
I must've been going faster even though I felt as if I couldn't go any slower or I'd come to a halt.
Awww I'm really pleased about this. More reason to keep going now.
Well done Donna ๐...now you know thats a decent pace, you can steady up a bit and relax.
Good luck with W8 R3..and you must definitely keep going..you're a fab runner๐xx
Thank you everyone. I really thought I was going really slow. But maybe as time is passing by, my really slow now is slightly faster than my really slow in the early days. Looking forward to the last run of week 8 tomorrow now.
I personally find it really hard to judge pace. Sometimes I think I'm going slowly but I'm actually bombing it, and vice versa. I think it depends so much on my frame of mind at the time.
Great to see you pushing past 5k ... it's a real boost to achieve your goals! It'll get easier, of course ... graduation is just a waypoint in your running journey.
