App for further than 5K?

Does anyone on here use an app to go further than the C25K app? Which is best?

I have an iPhone. I really liked the C25K app and don't think I can run without someone to chivvy me along. At present I'm repeating week 9 and pausing at various points with Strava in the background to tell me how far I've been. Is there a less time consuming recommendation from you running types?!

All the main run tracking apps can give you voice notification of your distance and this can be set to dip other audio to allow you to hear.

I don't understand why you are having to pause.

Thanks. It's basically because I'm slow that I have to pause! If I run the 30 mins I don't get far enough so I pause, continue running and then un-pause for the warm-down walk.
