Did w6r2 on treadmill first time ever. Don’t know how I feel 🤔 missed the road, wind and scenery the treadmill seemed easier but boring I think. Your thoughts?

Road v treadmill
Just posted very similar, I used treadmill for first time tonight. I did miss the aliveness of being outside but I found it much easier to pace myself using the treadmill. It was also a very flat run on the treadmill, whereas outside there’s a bit more up and down.
I think I like both in their own ways. 😊
I have a treadmill ive used once, found it hurt my hip but that was before I started c25k so might see how I find it now I’ve completed it 🤔
A lot of us are road warriors, or trail blazers. But for the alternative view on treadmills check out Shivani05 she is the treadmill queen and has lots of interesting posts...
I ran on the treadmill once. I missed the outside world with all its colour. I kept looking at the clock and checking how far I'd run. I even managed to nudge my mp3 player off the ledge so it dropped on the treadmill and shot off the back. Its was a refreshing change though running with other people on adjacent treadmills. My personal preference, where I'm happiest, is out in the fields with the scenery to distract me.
I started the programme on the treadmill in the gym and didn't think I would ever run outside. However that changed after a run with my daughter who refused to run indoors. I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to pace myself or know what distance I'd done. But I loved it. Downloaded and app, and away I went. I just love the variety outside, and even enjoy the changing weather and seasons as well as running different routes. I now go to the gym on my rest days (if I have time) .
My favourite thing is running outside when I'm away from home, as it's a lovely way of seeing other places (holiday or just visiting family or friends).
If you like the treadmill, that's good too.
