Second to last run!

Week 9 Run 2 done and dusted! Pleased I had run 5k but MapMyRun counted the 5 minute warm up walk as a run so will start it after the first 5 mins on Thursday for my graduation run to just see how far I go! Really enjoyed the run but I always find the first 5-10 minutes the hardest! After that I just enjoy the music and smiling and waving to everyone I know! Can't see who most of them are cos the reflection in their windscreens bit wave happily nonetheless! Roll on Thursday!! xx 👋😀🏃

  • Just starting week 9 - I’m just the same - the first 5-10 mins are always hard

  • The first five to ten minutes are the hardest of every run for every runner.

    This is when your body is trying to work out the demands being asked of it and the oxygen supply is not yet settled. It happens to us all, so just take that part nice and slowly.

    I am glad to hear you are smiling.

    Set up the graduation run to be as memorable as possible, it is special.
