With week 4 😂 I’m going to be honest. I woke up this morning NOT wanting to go out. Guess my “mojo” has been spent this week!!! Plus my stomach was hurting and growling and I have found that I can’t eat until AFTER running! But... nevertheless I got up and got ready to run!

Stepped outside and it was humid, the air was so thick (we are under a tropical storm warning here in Alabama for the next 24-36 hours) but it’s not doing anything now, just yucky air!

So here I go, already pouring sweat before I start, it’s only 70 ish degrees (Fahrenheit) but the air felt awful!!!

First 3 minute run, I developed awful pain in calves/shins. Pushed through. Second 5 min run was the best of the 4. But as soon as I got into my pace it was time to slow down and walk. Then the next 3 minute was ok. Then had to stop for about 15 seconds to stretch out my calves. Then 5 mins .... I actually didn’t even realize I was running up the slight slope/incline until I was going back down. 😂

So I finished week 4. It wasn’t an easy one... week 5 WILL be a mental challenge... but I’m gonna keep on keeping on! 😀

And.. you did it!!!! You did! :)

Well done you...lots to stop you, gremlins aplenty but you squished those blighters!

Just head into Week 5 knowing you are ready. Slow and steady and take each run gently.

Trust the programme have faith in yourself and KNOW you will do it :)

No worries! It’s not a race! 😉 and I know for sure that I will get behind in a couple of weeks. Taking a short weekend trip up to mountains and will not attempt to run st those elevations. That will be around week 6!
