Week 5 ... well am I in for a shock!

So I start W5R1 secretly massively proud of myself, this is the third time starting the app and I've never got past week three before so to be doing the 5 minutes is a pretty big achievement.

Then just as I'm starting, Michael makes a little comment and the runs being different through Week 5. I shrug to myself, thinking no big deal and don't let it affect my smug little achievement. Then I take a swift look when I'm done ... 20 minutes for R3?! 😭 How am I ever going to do that?!

It seems like a massive jump. I won't let it dishearten me so can you lovely lot just tell me I'll be OK please 😩

Each run up to now has prepared you for the next. Nothing changes in W5, except that by the end you will be grinning like a loon and believe that you might just complete the programme.

Start believing that now. You can, you will. Relax, run slow.....do it.

I did W5 R3 on Sunday and it was fine. The programme sets you up for it and it helped me to run my usual route. Nearly everybody thinks they can't do it, but they do. Believe in yourself & the programme and take it slow & steady. Good luck πŸ˜‰

πŸ˜ƒIt will be ok! I remember feeling the same sinking feeling but it was all ok - trust your training (and determination!)

Good luck! You can do it!
