It's great to be in week 8!

This evening I completed week 8 run 1 and I feel jolly pleased with myself. You might remember when I started the programme back in the summer that I was wondering about my commitment to stick with it when the new school year began. One of the best things about c25k is that it builds commitment along with the stamina, and now I know it is no more tricky to run at 6pm than it is at 6am. And I also know that I'm hooked on this running lark. I will miss Mr Smooth when I graduate in a couple of weeks though. As others have done I think I'll repeat week 9 for a while but I hope the bridge to 10k has some equally encouraging coaches with dulcet tones. Can't wait to graduate now, and do my first Parkrun!

Wise words OldFloss, I'm sure there will be a lot of consolidation to be done. But I need Mr Smooth. He doesn't say a lot now, so when he pops up with his words of encouragement it is even more special!
