Well surprised myself there. Brain said don't go but did it anyway after seeing a picture of one of my fellow c25kers soaked through and smiling. Great run though didn't really get going till about 10mins in! Still trying to convince body..... Now bubble bath, chai tea and a bit of Internet shopping!!! Xx

Rain? Where are you? I ran in the most glorious sunshine (unusual, I know) and was the colour of a very red beetroot by the time I got back. It was hot out there. Must remember to look at the forecast and set my alarm a bit earlier from now on. I loved those 5 o'clockers last summer ...!

I like the idea of an early morning run but haven't braved it yet. Maybe that should be added to the list of goals including the prom (omg run in front of people) and finishing the program!! A sunny run would be heavenly though! X

Congratulations SIH, well done, especially for braving the elements. Lovely smile, which I expect will stay there all day! Looks like a beautiful place to run too.

Chuffed to bits with today's run in the rain, and thanks for all the support. It really does seem to get me out there........xx

Great pic Sparky :) Lots of luck for week 9!

Hi ruth, was just checking out your post c25k run plan. I'm looking forward to finishing, first week 9 run tomorrow. I'll be a bit lost afterward I think so I'm watching what everyone else is doing really. I'm not really into speed! Your plan looks fine from what I know, although I'd find pace changing real hard, I only have one speed....steady as she goes!! Xxx

Steady sounds good to me! You might suit going on to longer runs if you've achieved a steady pace - I guess we're all different types of runners? Some people have said just keeping doing 30mins is good, so there's no need to start trying to run further unless you want to. I just want to feel better while I run, less of the heavy legs and feeling wheezy, so I think for me shorter runs, and slowly building up pace would be a good next step. Also I really enjoyed the c25k process and quite fancy redoing it, but slightly faster...
