Hi everyone
I've had a tough few months since I last posted earlier in the year. I managed to graduate and completed the 9 weeks and was ever proud of myself and then 2 weeks later (June time) I managed to mangle my left ankle in a hole whilst out walking the dog!
Cue time for me to feel very sorry for myself as I couldn't weight bear on it for about 10 days, it took about 6 weeks for it to start feel normal again.
I've also moved half way across the country for my husband's job, he's in the military. All this has meant no running for me and I must confess that I have missed it.
Today however I went for my first run. I picked up at week 7 to ease myself and my ankle back into it. It wasn't too bad, my lungs hated me by the end of it but I feel good at my accomplishment. I also have a new running partner - our husky x puppy is now old enough to come along and she loved it, which is a fab motivator!
So if something happens and you can't run, you can come back to it and there's no shame in going back and repeating a couple of weeks.
Enough rambling from me!
