Well I now have shin splint went out tonight thought I would go back to wk 1 again but only managed 3.5 sessions before pain stopped play.

Came home lots of information on the web good stretching exercises so will try these

Any gems of information on here to help ?

Sorry not suffered this so can't help but I think misswobble had this so hopefully she can offer some guidance. Have you got proper running shoes as that can make a big difference? Also make sure you're stretching after each run and in fact every day. Try heel rise/drops and ice regularly.

All I know is you shouldn't run with this and unfortunately it takes time.

But please don't be discouraged. There is no hurry and the programme will wait for you. All the best.

Have you had a definitive diagnosis of shin splint? If not, it might well not be that. Hopefully not, and something far Less serious
