Following my recent, new-found dedication to running outside, I'm looking for lovely places to run.
Can anyone tell me, is Bushy Park flat-ish? (Looking at the Parkrun site, it seems ok). I think adding too much of an incline at this stage might be a challenge too many! Though, of course, my long-long-term goal is to run anywhere and everywhere! π
Thanks, you super-supportive lovely bunch!

Yes, it's flat, have done a few Parkruns there which is where I graduated, a great place to run with the deer, just watch out for the droppings!π Bushey Parkrun is usually about 1000 runners, think recently there's been about 1200.
Watch out for John Altman there who was Nick Cotton in EastEnders, he was running on Saturday..
Hills will be good for your stamina if you can take them on and of course give more running routes for you..π
I have done it 3 times as a 'parkrun tourist'. It's flat. It's mixed surfaces, some on tarmac, some on grass, some on compacted earth. It's very busy, often over 1,000 runners. It's a nice, butterfly shaped, single lap course with quite a lot of interest. Look out for the deer (especially in a few weeks when we get into rutting season), the photographers chasing said deer, the heron on the lake, and the green parakeets.
