Does anyone do running and yoga?

I'm just wondering if anyone else does yoga and if they feel that it benefits their running? I did my W1D2 run last night which involved quite a bit of uphill running and my legs felt like jelly when I got home but today I don't feel sore when I thought I might have been... could this be my yoga helping?

Well, many of us do yoga, some on rest days, and some, like me every day... :) I did it before taking up running anyway.. :)

Our exercise regime for rest days and before and after our runs is essential and supports our running strength and stamina..is I feel sure this has worked for you..uphill running is great for us, but at the early stage can be daunting and tiring, before our running legs have grown strong.. so it is great that this has helped you. :)

These might be useful to you too?

Thanks for your reply and the link, very useful! I live in a very hilly place so don't have much choice then to practice running on hills. It's tiring but I just go really slow!
