Knee injury

My knee started to hurt after my last w1 r3. He hurt just below knee. That was on Saturday. It is now Thursday and I have not run all week and it is feeling stronger. I may give it another day or two rest. My question being should I carry on with w2 or rerun w1?

I had this and carried on with the program not rerunning. I shortened my stride, tried to run on softer surfaces at least for one of the runs a week and put some kinesio tape on my knee. The pain lasted for about another week but has cleared up now. Hope you manage to get it sorted :)

I started doing the strength and flex as well. I think I will leave to Saturday and see how it feels.

Maybe rest up a little while longer with some knee exercises, then carry on... slow and steady and try to land gently!! Kiss the ground with your feet :)

Hi, Iv'e had serious knee pain for 3 weeks now, no improvement. Think it was probably the shoes and trying to hard to fast.. Going back to week one and new shoes hoping this helps.

I feel mine is getting better. Luckily on the 6 week holidays so can rest it more. I am doing strength exercise for my legs. Going to warm up and down from now on.

Been wearing my new running shoes for a couple of days now and noticing the difference!! Obvs cant wear them all the time but really think it's helping as the pain is subsiding.

You mean you are breaking them in by just walking around in them ?

If your comment is aimed at me, then no, not breaking them in. They just feel so light and supportive that I feel less pain with my knees that I did before. So it's more comfortable to wear them around the house and out shopping.
