Just come back from my first run of week 7, and I know that I will be graduating in 8 more runs!!!! Despite the wind and rain I had a great run on a new route.
I usually do 50% off road, but didn't fancy heavy muddy feet so went on the roads. Ended my 25mins up a massive hill and got 3/4 of the way up it!! SOOO pleased with myself and now have the final 1/4 of the hill as a goal for my future runs.
I am not the classic running build (I carry a lot up front), but have really enjoyed this program. For all of you folk unsure or struggling to complete a run-please just keep trying, eventually you will smash it and you'll feel so proud of yourself when you do.
Anyone concerned about their red faces-I just ran in a bright red rain mac-makes you glow even more, but saves on a fluorescent jacket!!!! ππ

Just keep going nice and steady. Running in less than ideal conditions is all good practice. It was warm out there yesterday wasn't it π We had our own personal saunas π My biggest problem wa sleeping my hood up π
