Thank you to everyone who offered advice and support on my last post! So today I found a 'local' running sports shop who sold me a pair of karrimor tempo trainers for £30....bonus! They said to try them and see how I get on as like most of you guys have said, you won't really know what suits until you actually start!!
I plan to mentally prepare myself for run number one tomorrow being as I now have a pair of trainers....oh and some comfy socks!!
Wish me luck 😬

My wife bought the Karrimor Tempo's from Sportsdirect, and likes them a lot and highly recommended, regardless of what's been said about Sportsdirect, if there's a potential bargain and it suits the buyer then go for it..😊
Well done Lisa, I rate the Karrimor range, I think it's a good all rounder. I have the Duma 2 Karrimor, but after doing a gait analysis, my choice went with a pair of Asia's. They are so comfy and support my weak point on left foot which is my arch, falls slightly inward. Good luck for when you start
