Up and completed day 3. Was going to have a rest day but woke up early and felt a urge. I don't know if it's just me who struggles whilst running, but wishing for longer after I finish? 😶

It's normal... It is also really good to feel like you can go on, that is so positive
Which week are you on?
Take each run, slowly and steadily... relax into the runs and enjoy the journey... you did brilliantly getting up and out there... ( I love that urge that tells us to go )... well done
Only w1d3. I'm really enjoying it but worry if I take a rest day I won't start again!
You will, and you must always, always take your rest days.. do other exercise but don't run
The linked strength and flex which many of us used and still use, sometimes, alongside C25K are great and keep the buzz going...it is a fun journey, if we follow the plan

Maybe give them a go...
Hi GeorgiaP, I've only been doing the programme for 7 weeks now so I'm nowhere near as experienced as Oldfloss, but one thing I do know is that the rest days are key. You may be able to do back-to-back runs in week one, but as the weeks progress and the work intensifies, your body will need the rest days to recover. Trying to rush the programme is like trying to run too fast during a session, you'll be too exhausted to continue.
I know you said you were worried that you'd stop the programme if you took a rest day, but believe me, if you're hooked, you won't stop! Take your rest days - your body is working hard to adapt to the new demands you're putting on it!
Good luck from a very new, but getting clued-up runner.
